Audi Q5
Refined, sporty and always as elegant, the new A6 plug-in hybrid, just as the new A7 Sportback, offers solid performances, which are the same as those of the Q5 discussed above. Here you can also choose between two versions, namely the 50 TFSI e, oriented for passenger comfort—but still offering great performances—and the 55 TFSI e model, more focused on sportiveness, both in terms of design and power. Be among the first to try it at Audi Blainville in the Laurentians!
Audi A6
The newest Audi A8 is a lot roomier than the outgoing model, in addition to also offering a plug-in version! Enjoy unrivaled energy efficiency without compromising on performances and comfort, with all the power of the Audi TFSI e system comprised of a 3.0-litre TFSI 6-cylinder engine paired to an electric motor, providing a total power output of 330 kW (449 horsepower). You will also get a high-performance 8-speed Tiptronic transmission as well as the Audi quattro system, that no longer needs introduction.

Key features of the Audi plug-in hybrid models
No matter which model you will choose, you will enjoy a total driving range of about 40 kilometres in full electric mode, as per the Worldwide harmonized light vehicles test procedure, or WLTP, which will replace the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). And according to the manufacturer, it will only take you 2 hours to charge your vehicle, with a connector of 7.2 kW (240V). And if 40 kilometres seems small, you should know that it amounts to, on average, a third of the daily back-and-forth commute to work. You will also be able to use one of the 3 proposed drive modes, namely EV, Auto and Hold (which saves power).
Your Audi plug-in hybrid will be able to regenerate braking energy, up to 80 kW, and store it in the battery. On this subject, if the Q5 has a Li-ion battery made of prismatic cells, the A6, A7 and A8 will instead contain a lithium-ion battery composed of 104 pouch cells combined in 8 modules, delivering the same capacity than that of the Q5 (385V).
If you have been closely following the electric models from Audi since their beginnings, you might have noticed that these vehicles were all identified with the e-tron designation. From now on, the latter will be reserved exclusively for the manufacturer’s fully electric vehicles.
