Audi RS 6 Avant 2020

Rarely have we seen in Quebec a wagon sedan that can stand up to the best sports cars on the market. Yet that’s what the all-new Audi RS 6 Avant 2020 offers, nothing less! This newcomer, which will make its appearance at Audi Blainville in 2020, will not go unnoticed on the roads of the North Shore and Greater Montreal!

An ambassador for the new Audi Sport visual imprint, the RS 6 Avant is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 TFSI engine, producing an impressive 600 horsepower! All this power allows the RS 6 Avant to go from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.6 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 280 km / h, but can reach 305 km / h as an option. We agree that these speeds can only be achieved on closed circuits, such as those in Mirabel and Mont-Tremblant, for example.

The V8 engine comes with a mild hybridization system, which operates using a belt-driven starter and a 48-volt battery. This system makes it possible to recover, store and redistribute electrical energy efficiently. For example, if you release the pedal between 55 and 110 km / h, the engine can be turned off and go into freewheel mode to reduce fuel consumption. As an added bonus, an electric supercharger assists the turbocharger at low engine speeds to boost engine power when the situation demands it, such as when starting on hillsides. For ultimate agility and safety, the standard quattro permanent all-wheel drive distributes the power on both axles.

An unparalleled charisma

The Audi RS 6 Avant becomes the first RS model to adopt the new Audi Sport styling brand: a ribbed hood, Audi Matrix LED HD front lights with laser technology, a frameless singleframe grille, a muscular rear with two Chrome exhaust outlets and sculpted air intakes.

Designed for exceptional comfort on long journeys and an energetic driving experience, the Audi RS 6 Avant shows its many facets via the Audi drive select. As standard, the system allows you to configure your car (throttle, chassis, suspension and steering) in three modes: auto, dynamic and comfort. Depending on your mood and the state of the road, you get different driving experiences. The Sport RS Plus suspension with Dynamic Ride Control, which is available as an option, guarantees perfect precision, even on the winding roads of the Laurentians, while minimizing pitch and roll movements.

Inside the Audi RS 6 Avant, nothing was left to chance. The dashboard features the Audi Virtual Cockpit and high-resolution digital display. You can choose from three viewing modes: Classic, Infotainment and Sport. Sport RS leather seats give you a perfect fit for your comfort. The seats are finished to the highest quality with diamond or honeycomb stitching and the RS logo inlaid. The perforated leather Sport steering wheel is equipped with aluminum RS paddles and multifunction knobs that allow you to easily select Audi drive select modes at the touch of a finger.
